On the 8th of March, as the world came together to celebrate International Women’s Day, the Dianalds New Era Care Foundation (DNECF) had the honor of witnessing a momentous occasion. Our Founder and Director, Mrs. Lata Oommen, was invited as the General Convenor and Inaugurator for a grand Women’s Day Program, where she spoke on the Importance and Gravity of Women and Their Contribution to Society.
A Visionary Leader Inspiring Change
Mrs. Lata Oommen, a stalwart advocate for women’s empowerment, graced the event with her inspiring presence. Her journey as the Founder of DNECF has been marked by an unwavering commitment to social welfare, gender equality, and community upliftment. As she took the stage, her words resonated deeply with every woman in the audience, reminding them of their strength, resilience, and invaluable role in shaping society.
The Power and Contribution of Women
In her address, Mrs. Oommen highlighted how women have been the backbone of families, communities, and industries. She emphasized that women are not just contributors but change-makers, breaking barriers and redefining possibilities in every field—from business and politics to science and arts. She urged the audience to recognize the gravity of their contributions and to continue striving for progress and equality. She was felicitated by the organization and then proceeded to felicitate a multitude of women as well.
An Event of Empowerment and Recognition
The Women’s Day Program was a dynamic platform that celebrated the achievements of women from various walks of life. It featured inspiring stories, panel discussions, and interactive sessions that focused on:
The role of women in nation-building
Challenges faced by women in different spheres
The need for continuous advocacy and policy changes to support gender equality
DNECF’s Commitment to Women’s Empowerment
At DNECF, women’s empowerment is at the heart of our mission. Through initiatives like SHE CAN and SHE CAB, we strive to create opportunities for women to thrive, lead, and inspire. Mrs. Oommen’s presence at this event reaffirmed our organization’s commitment to fostering a society where women are empowered, respected, and celebrated.
A Call to Action
As the event concluded, Mrs. Oommen left the audience with a powerful message: Women are not just dreamers; they are doers, leaders, and the architects of a brighter future. She encouraged everyone—individuals, businesses, and policymakers—to actively support and uplift women in their communities.
DNECF remains steadfast in its mission to create a more equitable world, and we invite you to join us in this journey. Let’s celebrate women not just on Women’s Day but every day, ensuring that their contributions are recognized, their voices are heard, and their rights are upheld.
